Why we built KennelCore

Most independent kennels — the ones outside the national chains — are running on technology that stopped being adequate a decade ago. At worst it's paper folders in a filing cabinet. At best it's a spreadsheet that one person understands, holding dog info and maybe a rough booking calendar.

That's not a failure of the people running them. The software built for this industry is aimed at chains: priced per location, sold with a year-long contract, and shaped around a corporate workflow that a six-run kennel doesn't have.

KennelCore is the opposite of that. One kennel, one flat price, and a system you can configure yourself — the intake fields you actually ask for, the profile sheet you actually print, the calendar your customers actually check.
